Vegetable Beef Soup

This is hearty and flavorful, a favorite on cold days. Can be made with beef or venison, you pick!  Will server about 16, so you can half this recipe for a smaller batch.

Ingredients:

3 lbs Stew meat

1 – package Mc Cormick Beef Stew mix with Herbs & Onions.  

1- package onion soup mix

1 – Can Diced or Stewed Tomatoes

4 – Can mix vegetables, any kind you like, you pick it!

1 – Can Tomato Sauce

Salt and Pepper to taste.

Instructions:

  1. Cook the meat. Add the meat, onion soup mix and the beef stew flavoring packet to a crock pot and cook 4-6 hours on high or 10-12 hours on low.
  2. Add Vegetables. About 1 -2 hours before the meat is to be done, add in the 4 cans of mixed vegetables (Do not drain them if you want it more of a soup, drain them if you want more of a thick stew), tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
